A Yellow Star On My Medium Profile Picture
Does anyone know what this star represents? ⭐️
I just logged in to my Medium account and noticed a four-cornered yellow star on my profile photo at the bottom of the Homepage. When I click, it simply says ‘Member,’ but all I remember seeing was a green circle. I still see the green circle on Medium members’ profiles and on mine in the top right corner, but this yellow star (symbol) appears to be something new. Does it appear on everyone’s profile? Or on some? I’m actually not sure! I’m curious what this new thing is!
I’m wondering if I have achieved some sort of accolade or something. I’m not sure. I would love to hear from you. If someone can guide me. Maybe I can mention Kristina God in this story as well. She constantly writes engaging and informative stories; perhaps she can answer my question as she always helps to keep the community updated.
